Anastasia Mann,

For 30 years Anastasia has been visiting the nations of Africa.  Her speaking engagements over the years have included major travel industry conferences throughout the USA as well as internationally. In February of 2003 she was a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Peace through Tourism in Geneva, Switzerland and again presented a keynote address to the IIPT Africa conference in Lusaka, Zambia in February 2005. 


Well known as a leader in travel and tourism management and marketing, following
a childhood acting career, which spanned more than 70 films, Anastasia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California. She started her tourism career in hotel sales and marketing originally as the first female corporate sales manager for Hilton Hotels and eventually moved from hotel marketing to become the first US President of Operations for British-based company.

As founder, Chairman and CEO of renowned West Hollywood, California-based Corniche Group, Inc. Over the years, Anastasia has worked with a wide range of private institutions, including Pepperdine University, as well as high-profile clients and celebrated personalities in entertainment, sports teams and politics. 

In December 2004, Anastasia and Corniche Group successfully launched a new brand called Anastasia’s Africa, specializing in private, customized safaris to southern and eastern Africa with Africa’s premier safari lodges, camps, operators and guides.

As a founding member of the California Travel & Tourism Commission, she served two terms as the sole representative for all travel management agencies in the state. During both her terms she sat on the Executive Committee. Anastasia is involved in her community.currently serving her second term on the board of CalTIA (California Travel Industry Assn).

Combining 24 years in travel and tourism focused on luxury and exotic travel with an Executive MBA  from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma, with honors, and a degree in Education, Karin is an internationally known expert, travel planner and speaker on Africa, having trained thousands of travel professionals live, on panels, on radio and through webinars, on how to sell the continent, its unique luxury and safari properties, as well as how to custom design safaris. 
 
Karin’s first journey to Africa was in 1987 working with a sporting expedition operator to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe -- and she has continued to venture throughout Southern Africa and East Africa since then. Karin has a passion for exotic, luxury travel worldwide and in addition to African Travel, Born Free Safaris, Gametrails Ltd. and Wildlife Safaris, has held management positions with operators specializing in India, The Middle East, Europe, Asia and Oceania, and has traveled throughout these regions as well, considering herself a true exotic travelphile.

Jenny Peers
Operations Manager, Southern Africa

A native South African, Jenny is the face of Anastasia’s Africa  out of our headquarters in Cape Town.   Jenny has been a safari professional her entire adult life. 

Her personal safaris have included South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and, her favorite, Namibia.  Jenny is involved in every itinerary for Anastasia’s Africa clients.  

She is an expert on the townships of South Africa, and many times will escort our travelers for private visits.   Jenny is in charge of administration, custom safari planning and on-site management in real time Africa.
Kimberly Rudd
Safari Logistics Coordinator, North America

A long time travel industry executive, Kim was introduced to Africa by Anastasia and is now an avid Africa traveler herself.  

Kim oversees the behind the scenes logistics and has extensive  experience handling FITS and groups (having worked with many of our university groups).

On the ground in Africa she has spent time gorilla trekking, and safaring in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.   

A travel industry veteran who is meticulous with the details, she overseas our clients safaris after they have spoken to Karin, Anastasia or Jenny to customize it.
